Castles by Kinsella

Welcome to Windstone Editions' exquisite line of collectible castles created by sculptor Gary Kinsella, an internationally recognized master in the design and construction of some of the world's largest and most ornate sand castles.

GaryKinsellaAlthough Kinsella often employs earth-moving equipment to build the giant sand castles (some towering four stories high and sprawling over an area the size of a football field), it is his meticulous attention to fine detail that brings these miniatures to life. Unlike Kinsella's sand castles that, in spite of their large size, often only survive on the beach for the twelve short hours between high tides, these collectible castles are created to endure the ages.

Cast in the highest quality synthetic stone, each castle is individually hand-painted to highlight the intricate detail - all the way down to the minute hinges and rich wood grain found on the tiny doors. As a crowning touch, the castle towers are capped with gleaming gold-plated finials so lustrous they glint under the slightest light.

CastlesBeckoning the onlooker to pass through tiny doorways, climb stone staircases, and peer out through arched windows high in each castle's keep, Windstone Editions entire line of Castles by Kinsella will charm and enchant young and old alike.

From the Mariner's Watch Tower huddled on a tiny Mediterranean island, to the austere Castle Weinburg with it's meticulous landscaping and stonework, our Castles by Kinsella span not only the European continent, but the breadth of the imagination as well. Each castle, a work of Kinsella's imagination and artistry, has its own unique and memorable story, ranging from the isolated Alchemist's Tower where an eccentric scientist toiled to turn lead into gold, to the dazzling Castle of the Merry Ghost where it is said the spirit of the jovial cellar master can still be heard chuckling to himself.
